Milkshake

Milkshake, the Siamese, was also a rescue from “A Better Life.” We brought him home the same day we adopted Harry — two tiny kittens, both hoping for a second chance. I fell in love with that little face immediately; he was calm, quiet, and seemed to see the world with a thoughtful, almost old-soul expression. From the start, we hoped he and Harry would grow up as brothers.

Unlike Harry, Milkshake is our “hide-a-cat.” We almost never know where he is, and he rarely comes out to be seen. He isn’t a people-cat — he doesn’t want to be held, touched, or doted on. Still, he’s healthy, content, and in the last few months he’s slowly begun to appear more often. Maybe in another five years he’ll finally let us pet him… fingers crossed.
